Portable shower for camping with your own hands
I like to sometimes go to the countryside with a tent and overnight stay and I needed a portable shower to take up little space and it would be electric, that is, it would work from a 12-volt battery. Of course, marketplaces now sell such showers for camping, but I did not want to wait for a long delivery and all the parts I can buy in local household and automotive stores. In addition, my camping shower has several advantages: the water in the shower can be turned on by pressing the lever on the shower head, which saves a lot of water; the electric pump is quite thin and can be slipped into the neck of a large bottle or canister; my electric shower can be connected to a car battery or an electric tool battery.

How to make a portable electric battery shower, instructions:
To make our homemade shower could work we need an oil pump, it works well with any liquid including water. The diameter of the pump is 37 mm and easily passes into the neck of a 3 or 5 liter PET bottle, the diameter of which is about 40 mm.
The hygienic shower head or bidet shower head was chosen as the shower head for camping because it only works when the lever is pressed, which saves water. The pump is working and the water inside the pump overflows idly, dumping the water back into the tank, it does not overheat as it is in the water.
First of all, let’s put the PVC hose on the pump, and for this, you need to heat the end of the tube, I do it with a construction hair dryer, but you can soften it in boiling water or heat it carefully over the fire.
On the other end of the hose we put on an adapter (no need to heat the tube in this case) with 1/2 female thread, this thread is just right for the shower head. Before that we put a car clamp on the tube.
Basically now our homemade camping shower is ready, everything turned out quite simple and low-cost. I will connect my portable shower to the battery from the electric drill on 11V (10,8V). Connect the plus terminal from the pump to the plus and the minus terminal to the minus of the battery and turn on the shower with the pump switch.
As you can see the pressure of the electric shower is quite good, thanks to the hygienic shower head you can turn on the water supply when necessary. And then when you soap up, you stop pressing the lever and the water does not go, then you press again and wash further, the water is not wasted, which is quite important for a portable shower.
